Accessibility
We want everyone deciding on a Nursing Home Administrator license to be able to use these tools. Nursing Home Admin Prep is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What is in place today
- A skip-to-content link and full keyboard operability, with a visible focus outline on every interactive control.
- Text and interface colors that meet AA contrast in both the light and dark themes.
- The dark theme follows your operating-system preference automatically.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected; there is no essential animation.
- The licensing matrix and per-state tables stack into readable single-column cards on small screens.
- Semantic HTML structure (headings, lists, labelled form controls) so screen readers can navigate.
- Tool results are announced through live regions as they update.
How we check
Before this site goes live and as we ship changes, we run automated and manual accessibility checks against the WCAG 2.2 AA rules, and a serious or critical issue blocks the release. Automated testing does not catch everything, so we also walk the site by keyboard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: guidelines and our content evolve, and we may not have caught every issue.
No accounts, no barriers
There are no accounts, no logins, no tracking cookies, and no email walls. Every tool runs in your browser and your inputs stay on your device, so nothing stands between you and the information.
Feedback
If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, we want to fix it. Please tell us through the Urban Algorithm contact page and describe the page and the problem.
